Trivia
Originally four shows had been planned for the Capitol Theatre from March 6-9, 1980. These had to be rescheduled as Sting had voice problems. They eventually took place at the Hordern Pavilion from March 21-23, 1980.
The re-scheduling of these Australian gigs led to the cancellation of two concerts in Asia: Ian Copeland had already booked the band for the Kit Kat Club in Bangkok, Thailand and for another concert in Singapore, Singapore.
The first thing The Police did on this day was filming the sheep sequence which appears in Around The World and Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out in Kellyville near Sydney.
