Summary

The show was recorded in Los Angeles. The date is not exactly known. Jeff Seitz was new to the crew and he remembers that this happened between playing in Portland and Hawaii. So another possible date for this is 1980-02-07. Sting also did screen tests for a Coppola movie while being in Los Angeles.

Parts of The Police's concert were broadcast on May 17, 1980 - out of order:

Roxanne, Message In A Bottle, Can't Stand Losing You, Next To You, Walking On The Moon, The Bed's Too Big Without You. Deathwish
