Recording information
There are several recordings of this concert, one being most notably an incomplete soundboard recording that appeared for the first time shortly after the show on the vinyl bootleg Live in Italy. This recording is widely available, having being pressed many times on subsequent vinyl or CD bootlegs usually with the title Live in Milano or Live in Italy.
There are also other three known audience recordings, of excellent quality, two of which we have source informations:
- Imperial shotgun mics > Marantz deck
- AKG 333 bulb mics > WM-D6c
The show was also professionally filmed, there are clearly visible videocameras (35mm) in pictures of the show. Possibly it was for some documentary or some release, fact is the video of the show never appeared, even if one song (Message In A Bottle) is reported to have been broadcast on an Italian TV news report at the time.
The show was also partially audience filmed with a Super 8mm camera and three songs were broadcast on a private local TV station.
Trivia
