The Police were exhausted at the end of their world tour and stopped this concert after about 50 minutes.
During the concert Sting noticed that he was losing his voice. As he feared that singing the high notes in Roxanne might cause permanent damage he told Danny Quatrochi to cut pull the plugs right before Roxanne
The audience was left in the dark as to why this happened. Bottles were thrown, a shot was fired. The (real) Police had to deal with this.
