Introduction
"Gormenghast" was the second book of Mervyn Peake's series of "Gormenghast" novels. Sting played "Steerpike" in two 1984 BBC Radio 4 audio dramas based on these novels. Titus Groan was broadcast on 1984-12-10, with Gormenghast to follow on 1984-12-17. Both 90 minute plays would eventually be released in 1990 as the two cassette BBC release Titus Groan And Gormenghast, and again in 2000.
