Trivia
At noon there was a bomb threat - Sting had to cancel a few appointments as no one could get into the stadium.
Before the show Sting had dinner at the hotel buffet (La Pampa) at 7:30pm - where he also had breakfast during his entire stay in Buenos Aires.
Sting performed from 9:30pm until 11:35pm in front of 60.000 people. He dedicated Frágil to the "boys who died in the Mavinas".
Sting had visited the headquarters of "Madres de Plaza de Mayo" Association (probably earlier today) and invited a group of women to the concert. He paid for a bus to take them to the stadium, where his personal manager gave them credentials.
The stage lights for the concert (owned by a US company) did not arrive in time for the show. 48 hours before the show it was decided to bring in five local companies to provide the minimum requirements. The British technicians gave it a go at midnight on Thursday.
1.200 police officers assured security in the stadium and surrounding areas. 400 people from the concert organization worked as security personnel - to secure the stage area.
