"Too Much Information" is a song written by Sting and recorded by The Police in 1981.

About the song
The Sting demo already features most of the elements of the LP version; the lyrics are slightly altered, the "Overkill..." part not being there yet.
There's an early version from AIR Studios where Stewart Copeland counts the song in. There's no guitar at the beginning and no such solo guitar in the whole song yet.
After the "Cha"s there are a few instrumental bars, whereas on the LP version Sting continues singing immediately.
The end of this early version is faded out much later, bringing the song close to 4:30 minutes.
