Introduction
This 302 page book based on Stewart Copeland's diaries covers the years 1976 - 1978, with a short outlook of what was to come in 1979. Stewart kept detailed notes of his days with Curved Air and the early years of The Police, but later diary / calendar pages are rather blank. That's why the book concentrates on the early period.
It features lots of handwritten diary pages, present-day notes about the events, rare photos, flyers and posters.
Although it was supposed to be sent later in October the very first books arrived by mail on October 5, 2023 - as a warehouse in The Netherlands didn't quite follow the publisher's orders.
On a personal note: the publisher didn't have the time for proper proofreading of the glossary and the names and credit section. That's why Dietmar's name is mis-spelled every single time. Which is a shame as he worked on that book for about a month - for free... Stewart Copeland did a handwritten correction of that in a video he sent on 2023-10-13.
