The Police mix yesterday's songs with John Cale at Pathway Studios. Sting lets Henry Padovani know that everybody likes him, but he is no longer in the band.
Stewart's diary also mentions a photo session with Lawrence Impey for today - this took place at Sting's apartment (at 28a Leinster Square, Bayswater), but was ended early as a cable for the flash light didn't work properly.
Photos from this session can be seen in Lawrence Impey's book The Police: Undercover 1977-1978.
