Wazmo Nariz were supposed to support The Police again for this UK tour. But just before the band had to leave the States the guitarist broke the bass player's hand by accident after winning a ping-pong match. Wazmo Nariz would support The Police during the December tour instead - and for a few concerts in 1980.
The band Fàshiön was hired as the new support act.
