From 2021 onwards Stewart Copeland had played "Police Deranged For Orchestra" concerts in North America and Europe - with local orchestras.
The original "derangements" were done for his super-8 movie Everyone Stares: The Police Inside Out - using The Police live and studio tracks and arranging them in a unique new way.
The orchestral parts for this record were recorded at Windmill Lane Recording Studios on 2022-07-21 and 2022-07-22 (with Stewart present, but leaving early on the second day, as he had to attend a premiere in Italy).
Although the official CD release is 2023-06-23 CDs were alread sold for 15 UK pounds at the 2023-04-28 concert in London.
