There are two "TV" entries in Stewart Copeland's diary & calendar for this week. Today's entry in the diary and in the calendar is just "TV", whereas the entries for 1980-01-14 were "TV music" and "TV Olympia".
The Police probably recorded the mono version of The Bed's Too Big Without You on 1980-01-14 and filmed the It's Alright For You studio video and The Bed's Too Big Without You location video today.
Both clips would eventually be released on 2018-11-19 on the The Kenny Everett Video Show 6 DVD set.
Sting used his 1979 Ibanez Musician MC 900DS Fretless bass, while Andy Summers used a Washburn Falcon for both the studio performance and the video clip.
