This is a very basic template to use for articles about events in Police history. You can add header sections and images as you feel necessary in order to properly illustrate the event. For actual performances, please use [[Template:Performance]] instead. Event articles should be named in the YYYY-MM-DD format to be properly registered in the timeline calendars.

Sting in London
Photo or image related to event
Date: 1981-03-04
Location: London, England, UK
Attendees: Sting

Another run in the morning. Sting went to his record company at lunchtime. After grabbing a few free records he went to his publicist Keith Altham and did some interviews with the Sunday Mirror and TV Times. Sting then watched a preview of the film Parole (because he sang the theme song I Shall Be Released). He showed up at a pub in Soho afterwards. When Sting got home a friend had brought a young puppy and Sting kept him (called Belgrave). In the evening Sting went to see Jools Holland at London's Dingwall's. The last thing this day was watching "A Day At The Races" by the Marx Brothers at home.
