Production

As Terry Gilliam was one of his neighbors Sting flew from London to Rome for one day to film his short scene - for free.

Shooting should have started on September 7, 1987 - but as it is a Terry Gilliam film it's no wonder that it didn't start until September 21, 1987. Sting's scene should have been among the very first in the shooting schedule as the set he performs in was the only one ready... they were probably shot on 1987-09-22 or 1987-09-23.
