The subway scenes were filmed in Tokyo - the scenes with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers outside are from Hong Kong.
Production
On 1980-02-22 The Police filmed harakiri ceremony scenes for a So Lonely video which were not used. The shooting date for the subway scenes that made it into the video is not known, but it might have been the day after.
The scenes outside with Stewart Copeland hitting various items and Andy Summers doing his guitar solo in the zipper suit were shot in Hong Kong a few days later.
