About the song
According to New York Rocker from January 1979 this song was recorded just before Stewart Copeland left for The Police's first US tour. Stewart Copeland's diaries feature a studio entry with Brian James on 1978-12-27. Living In Sin was recorded at Matrix Studios whereas the other tracks were recorded at Riverside Studios. So there might have been an early session and the one at the end of December.
