Recording information
The songs were recorded for television broadcast. Only Roxanne and Every Breath You Take were shown (with Andy Summers' mistakes corrected!). An internet download of all three songs shows how bad Andy played today.
Trivia
Every Breath You Take was turned into an all-star "jam" with Steven Tyler, Gwen Stefani, and John Mayer joining on the vocals at the end, much to the chagrin of many fans.
During Every Breath You Take, it was clear that Stewart Copeland had broken his snare drum skin and needed the drum changed out mid-song. While some fans found this amusing and a show of Stewart's enthusiasm for playing with the band again, there was a kerfluffle on the The Police Xmission Mailing List over it as some criticized him of "overplaying".
