Trivia
Sting was scheduled to perform Fields Of Gold on the BBC’s “Top of the Pops” TV show. Early this morning he went to Pittsburgh's WQED Studio A. In front of a very limited studio audience Sting and his band did a few rehearsals as there were some audio-equipment problems. He then sang vocals to a previously recorded backing track.
Sting and his band flew from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati.
