According to the tour itinerary Sting and his band were supposed to spend a day off in London, England, UK.
However it looks like a huge part of today was spent travelling TOWARDS London.
Sting was still busy doing interviews in Buenos Aires in the early afternoon of 1987-12-12. His guitarist Jeffrey Lee Campbell remembers that the band flew from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro where their flight to London was delayed several times due to the end of an airline strike.
Flying from Buenos Aires to Rio probably took place yesterday evening. By waiting in Rio and then flying East the band lost the best part of a day and arrived in London sometime today...
