Trivia
Soundcheck at 3:00pm is interrupted by aproximately 100 fans who broke security at one of the entrances. Sting shouts in English "Do me a favour, go back home and let me do my job!" No one understood a word. Security eventually pushes them back to a corner. The rest of the day is spent in the hotel. Sting is interviewed for BIZZ magazine today.
The show doesn't go well. The band is not in synch and lacks the spark of the previous shows. After the last encore, the band rushes to the bus. On the way to the hotel, Sting is displeased and shouts "Are we pros or not?". There is heavy silence. Upon arrival, Kim Turner announces "All musicians are summoned to Sting's apartment at 0:30". At 2:00am Kenny Kirkland, Marvin Smith, Mino Cinelu, Steve Coleman and Delmar Brown leave the hotel without making any comment. They walk to Dinho's apartment (front man of support act Capital Inicial) just a block away, where there is a memorable party going on.
