In 1982 Sting would also play the headless Steinberger bass (borrowed from Andy Summers). He would get his own later: a black L2 model serial # 430 manufactured in 9/82 and sent to him shortly after directly from the factory. This one was used during the Synchronicity recording sessions and the following tour.
