Stewart Copeland records the backing tracks for his first Klark Kent single at Surrey Sound Studios: Don't Care / Thrills / Office Girls.
At 10:00am Stewart Copeland loads his instruments into his purple VW and drives to Surrey Sound Studios. Together with Nigel Gray he records drum box patterns for all three songs. Stewart then plays rhythm guitar parts with a 1969 Gibson SG and adds guide vocals. With these guide tracks Stewart then adds his drums. At 4:00pm it's time for additional guitars, bass, piano and kazoo.
