Introduction
The Tyneside Jazz Orchestra were a smaller version of the Newcastle Big Band. They had a trial concert at the Kelso Festival in September 1975. Sting and Gerry Richardson both mentioned that Last Exit were basically the rhythm section for the Tyneside Jazz Orchestra.
