THE POLICE in the studio with John Cale as producer. They recorded an early version of DEAD END JOB plus two takes of VISIONS OF THE NIGHT - a combination of those was later used on the WALKING ON THE MOON 7"-single.

After the recording Sting and Henry went to Henry's flat and discussed the future of the Police without him, something Henry already felt was in the air... He then decided to go back to Corsica, to spend a well earned holiday.
