Sting filmed scenes for Stormy Monday on Newcastle's Quayside.
In an interview with the Newcastle Journal he mentions that he finished ...Nothing Like The Sun in New York and got straight on the plane to Newcastle last Monday (1987-07-27). Unfortunately he had to fly back and returned on Thursday (1987-07-30).
