Les Nemes (from Haircut 100) remembers meeting The Police in 1982 (?) at Nomis Studios in London - Haircut One Hundred were rehearsing there for an American tour and The Police were next door. "On a break, our guitarist Jonsey (Graham Jones) decided it would be a good idea for me to get on one of the big trolleys they used to wheel the gear around and whizz me down the corridor. As we passed the door, at full speed, of where The Police were rehearsing Stewart stepped out and we had to swerve and slam on the breaks to stop from running him over, I mean, imagine if we had killed Stewart Copeland from The Police! My God! He dived to one side with his hands out and said, "Whoa boys, slow down" That was it, a brief encounter but one that will stay in my mind forever. "
