(around the time that Madonna's "Angel" reached no. 1 in Australia (which was on June 24) Sting was interviewed in by "Molly" Meldrum on the "Countdown" TV show. He mentions he'd spend some time in Queensland "scuba diving" after the interview.
A report in the LA Times mentions that they did a Sting interview at his favourite hotel in Los Angeles in late June (? --- that's complicated considering today's Sydney date, but could have been after June 20) - to be completed two weeks later in London where Sting is busy shooting the video for Love Is The Seventh Wave...
