About the song

The demo for this song was recorded on 1976-07-14 in Florian Pilkington-Miksa's home in London, England, UK.

He used a Yamaha Leslie cabinet with reverb and recorded onto Florian's Revox A77 tape machine (which he later bought from him on 1977-01-09). Fast guitar licks were recorded with the Revox A77 playing at half-speed. Ian Copeland sings the lead vocals, with Sonja Kristina on backing vocals. I

Hanging from a tightrope while I'm reaching to the crowd
you're laughing, yeah, you're laughing
you won't help that crazy clown

you're gonna get down to my
revenge
you're all gonna die laughing
gonna get down to my
revenge
you're all gonna die laughing

creeping up the stairwell
gonna do it while you sleep
you'll be screaming, you'll be screaming
dreaming of that crazy clown

you're gonna get down to my
revenge
you're all gonna die laughing
down to my
revenge
you're all gonna die laughing

revenge
you're all gonna die laughing
gotta gotta gotta get my
revenge
you're all gonna die laughing

creeping up the stairwell
gonna do it while you sleep
you'll be screaming, you'll be screaming
dreaming of that crazy clown

you're gonna get down to my
revenge
you're all gonna die laughing
gotta gotta gotta get my
revenge
you're all gonna die laughing
