The Police perform a lip-synch version of Spirits In The Material World on French TV show "Champs-Elysées" in Paris, France (broadcast on 1982-01-16). They fly to Schiphol airport in the evening.
The band also did an interview for the evening news of channel Antenne 2 with journalist Gérard Holtz (broadcast 1982-01-09).
While in Paris the band was photographed by Bruno Mouron at the Bar des Théâtres on Avenue Montaigne, with a Galette des Rois (cake of kings - a specialty traditionally served on January 6).
