Andy is interviewed in Kinsale | |
---|---|
Date: | 1980-09-25 |
Location: | Kinsale, Ireland |
Attendees: | Andy Summers, Mike Nicholls, Justin Thomas |
Journalists from Record Mirror visit Andy Summers at his home in Kinsale, Ireland. They take photos on the quay-side with some nuns and then watch Top Of The Pops at a friend's house (because Andy doesn't have a TV yet) where they show The Police 's new video for Don't Stand So Close To Me. Andy and the journalists later headed to a roller disco.
Andy has been at his new home for three weeks, so he probably went there right after The Police returned on 1980-09-03.
Earlier that year Andy had rented a house near Galway on the west coast, but couldn't stand the isolation.
