Sting recorded his demo for this song in Dublin in the summer of 1980. What he recorded is very close to the LP version.
In the demo's first chorus however Sting sings Canary In A Coalmine a fourth time.
The mini instrumental middle section is not there yet. There's an instrumental chorus instead with some additional guitar (maybe hinting at a possible solo).
