Trivia
Last Exit were hired as the pit band for the Rock Nativity musical - additional musicians being Derek Lunn (drums) and Iwan Williams. The musical was written by Tony Hatch (music) and David Wood (story). Frances Tomelty was the leading actress.
According to Sting's Broken Music they started rehearsing in mid-October 1974, but that's doubtful as in the same book it's described that rehearsals began a few days (?) after one of Last Exit 's gigs - the first one was on 1974-10-17.
The musical ran for six weeks - from today's press performance to 1975-01-25. The only problem for Sting would be Wednesday's matinee shows which collide with his job as a school teacher.
