Trivia
The venue name is usually listed as Winnipeg Coliseum, but no venue with such name exists or existed.
There were 16.300 people in the audience.
The Police took the stage at 8pm.
The Thompson Twins took the stage approx. 8 pm. After their set and a brief stage change, The Police took the stage around 10 pm.
The venue was the Winnipeg Arena
About an hour after the show (midnight?), Stuart Copeland and Andy Summers left in a smaller black stretch limo. Their car pulled right up to the door and they soon drove away; no interaction with fans. Sting's car was a much larger silver limo and parked about 50 meters away from the building. He signed no autographs but was pleasant enough on his departure and fans were able to have a good look. I managed to jump on the roof and reach for a handshake, but he was quickly inside. Cool enough!
