Trivia

Earlier that day Sting shot his last scenes for the movie Brimstone & Treacle at Shepperton Studios. He had to ram his right fist through a window and injured his hand while doing it.

Sting tried to play this concert with an injured hand - but it started to bleed again.

(The Outlandos newsletter mentions that the injury happened on Thursday - December 17. An earlier newspaper clipping specifically mentions that it took place on Friday - the day of the concert.)
