This is the equipment Andy Summers used at the 2nd Rockpalast concert in Essen, Germany on 1980-10-18.

Andy's stage gear, 1980/81:

  • Fender Telecaster, 1961, with maple neck, brass bridge, built in preamp and Gibson humbucker in the neck position.
  • Hamer Standard model, red, with 2 "zebra" humbuckers, probably a 1980 model.
  • Roland G-303 guitar with built-in synthesizer controls; as used on "Don't Stand So Close to Me"
