Stewart Copeland visits Louie Lepore in a hospital. The Police rehearse at Sting's place.
Louie Lepore remembers this:
I remember well when I was in recovery, Stewart came to visit me. There I was in a hospital bed, in a room with many other patients, and in came Stewart with a huge smile on his face, and a stack of newspapers clutched under his arm! I believe he came the day after my procedure - which was to put a tube in my chest attached to a beaker, to re- inflate my lung. It was a scary time to say the least! He brought me the weekly music papers of the time - Sounds, New Musical Express and Melody Maker. There may have also been a copy of one of the British dailies, but of that I’m not sure. He spent a good amount of time with me and certainly brightened my spirits, and I was very happy to see him!
Henry Padovani came to visit me also, which was another moment of joy because it gets mighty lonely in a hospital bed. We had a great chat and it was another moment of brightened spirits! I think Henry brought me some chocolates, or maybe Stewart did along with the papers, or maybe neither of them did? Maybe it was one of the many hallucinations I had!"
