Best concert I have been to. My Sting side stage seats, 15 rows up were great. My Girlfriend and I and Flaggie had a hell of a dance. Stood up for entire gig. Never sat. That would be Asshatty.
I worshiped and protected the magic green one with all my might. All the Nutters an TPT people were amazing. Great fun, great people.
Gong. I held Flaggie at my chin...by the two top corner rivets...hoping that would aid in not getting it mangled by my manic grasp. Held it, hold it...no asshating...Message rocked the Fuck Monkey!... lights...gulp...NO point. gulp again.
Enjoying the music so much I didn't panic...(Headline: Bongo the first Fucking Netter to NOT be pointed at!)...no problems, Synch comes up. Wicked as well...(thinking, they sound a LOT different than July. And I mean A LOT, Fucking energy, joking..) ...lights, up high goes Flaggie the green...and....POINT ! (Fuckin A !) ....the songs were so, so, so well done. Only major gaffs were the vocal in King o Pain (but it was great fun) and Andy went to Idaho in a part of Driven. He was playing a half bar ahead of the band....he stopped for a bit, back on track. Beauty. Not even mistakes to me. More like coolness.
I know I'm babbling. Gotta get up early, day off to do stuff...so.....so how are you guys doing? Anyway, I hope some others can fill in what point came where...I counted 5 points. I think he was blinded by the lights as he shaded his eyes a few times. He burned up the drum kit so bad in the jam of Roxanne...the heat he must have caused by the friction of his sticks has probably contributed to the depletion of the ozone layer. He went into I dunno, almost a thrash metal beat! They were just thumping the Mother down! Beating the living shit out of it!
Before Fiction Plane I thought I would act like a responsible adult. I turned to the dudes behind me and informed them of my story. I have this Flag, it has traveled far. I will not obstruct your view, and yes he will point. There response was "Bluh" I believe. I sat back down and wished that I had a green and white flag that was 28 feet by 28 feet and I'd like to hold that bastard up in front of ya! huh? how d ya like that indifferent boy ! HOT DAMN !!!.... Where was I ?
I'm sleepy...no, no...ah yes ....the awesomness.
All the songs were great, but one thing was so cool. Hole in my Life (love it) I was counting out the stops to my girlfriend (drummers) as we did a little jig, and he pointed! missed holding up Flaggie on that one...cool place for a point.
Sting shoved Andy around a lot, funny, Andy stayed out at the encore, cool.
Seriously, so brilliant. so Fucking Gobsmacked.
