Band history
Dire Straits were formed in London in 1977. They played in a lot of clubs and performed on the same TV shows as The Police. Sting recorded Money For Nothing with them on Montserrat, which he performed several times live with the band in 1985 and 1986.

Strontium 90 didn't release any records until in 1997 Pangaea / Ark 21 released Strontium 90: Police Academy - a CD with some live tracks from the Paris concert on 1977-05-28 and some studio tracks.
