Introduction
Stewart Copeland and Stanley Clarke wanted to form a group and auditioned Deborah Holland in October 1987, immediately followed by the Rush Hour tour of South America in November 1987.
As Animal Logic they first recorded There's A Spy (In The House Of Love) and Firing Up The Sunset Gun, had a break and then recorded the rest of the album.

Quotations and trivia
In Musician's February 1988 issue Stanley Clarke mentioned that they'd start recording in January 1988, with no new band name yet and no mention if Andy Summers would remain in the band.
