The Police rehearse with Eberhard Schoener at the ARRI-(film)Studios in the Türkenstraße at 11am. Andy Summers knew the songs they played from his previous recordings with Eberhard Schoener. Sting and Stewart Copeland had to learn the atmospheric stuff in the few rehearsals.
