Stewart Copeland and his family are in Beirut, Lebanon.

In his book Wild Thing Ian Copeland describes that their family stayed in Beirut during the first months of the Civil War. The riots started on 1958-05-09 and lasted until October. Ian describes that the U.S. Marines landed on 1958-07-04, but that actually happened on 1958-07-15. Soon afterwards the family went to London.
