Sting is honoured by Chile's Foreign Minister Soledad Alvear for defending human rights. The award named after Nobel Prize literature winner Gabriela Mistral would be stolen from Sting's dressing room one day later on 2001-01-16 in Buenos Aires during the soundcheck.
After receiving the award Sting flew to Buenos Aires where he landed around 04:45pm. He went straight to his van and stayed at the Sheraton Hotel.
