Stewart appears on TV show in Southampton
Photo or image related to event
Date: 1978-09-16
Location: Southampton, England, UK - Southern TV Studios
Attendees: Stewart Copeland / The Police (?)

Stewart Copeland gets up at 07:00am. He appears on the "The Saturday Banana" - a children's TV show that was broadcast live every Saturday morning.

After a meal he drives to Surrey Sound Studios by bus, drops off his gear and returns to his home.

(Stewart's diary doesn't make it clear if he was there as Klark Kent or if it was an appearance by The Police. The remark "dropped off gear" could mean that it was an appearance by The Police!)
