• Build announcement/tag templates to be used within articles. • Tackle PoliceWiki:General_disclaimer page.

• Putter about adding some images like singles/magazine/etc images that I have on hand which will be handy, whenever I don't feel like tackling stuff that requires brainpower.
• Build more userboxes for fun and mischief.
• Respond to DM in lolCat when the brain stops working.
• Figure out a memorabilia section, probably for each Police/A/S/S.
• Add this rss-reader extension, so we could have some sort of Police news feed imported into the wiki. - Can't do it, dreamhost won't allow the extension without a lot of wonky runaround coding.--Sockii 10:58, 7 February 2008 (PST)

DM's tasks

• Finalize the category structure. User:DM-Kellie is doing a fabulous job of this! [sockii said that last bit. I just like it.]
• Clean up/simplify smaller categories
• Proofread those Help and About pages once they're complete
• Double-check the templates one more time (including comments/instructions) to make sure we haven't changed anything
• Comb through the Disambig pages for consistency (cf. Shadows)
• Finish/double-check Performances/Gear/Bands sections
• Decide on band albums/albums/discog thing
• Double-check categories in A/S/S to make sure no one is missing anything
• Delete leftover sample pages
• Email sockii with annoying questions
• Studio gear
• Deal with historic events redirects
• Learn to speak lolCat
• Give Henry some space

Does anyone have the name of any recording studios where Sting has recorded? That's my only MIA Place category, my net search failed, and I don't have any Sting solo albums on-hand.----

Exactly what I was thinking, only theirs is way prettier than I had in my head. I was thinking of coupling it with a page-by-page check of the whole wiki, but I may need to separate those a bit just for the sake of time. --DM-Kellie 11:10, 8 February 2008 (PST)

• Continue adding stub pages for articles planned for the wiki, so as to troubleshoot and plan categorizing properly.

Definitely need stubs for missing band songs, books, performance dates (Police tours (Outlandos through Reunion), Sting tours, Andy tours (2001 Andy Summers Trio and 2004 Andy Summers trio))

• Make sure every Template listed at Help:Templates has at least one example usage in place, which can be listed in the table on the Help page. As you can see, there are a bunch of page types with missing examples so far. This will help us troubleshoot the templates as well.
• Continue using templates such as Template:Album and Template:Performance to build up some basic info in various key areas of the site. Even if only the basic info sections are filled in, this should encourage new users to go in an edit more details themselves.
• Start uploading image files which will no doubt be included, with the appropriate information pages filled out. (Example: Image:Police-album-reggattadeblanc.jpg). Link them to appropriate stubs, even if templates will be added later. (User:Lkkinetic has been tackling this well for album covers.)
• Standardize all song titles to all initial caps (both in Songs sections and in Discographies)

After/around public launch

• Start taking volunteers for various articles (this'll probably be especially useful for main biographies, where it would be good to have folks tackle them in some depth.)
• Take volunteers for additional sys ops, as needed (folks who show good understanding of wiki markup and add good content will probably be approached for this.)
• Contact folks who have other informational Police websites to solicit their help and participation with the wiki project.
