About the song

Sting didn't want to sing every song Stewart Copeland wrote. That's why Klark Kent had to be invented. This song was first released on the label Kryptone Records in 1978, then A&M picked it up and re-released it in 1978. It was so successful that Klark Kent even appeared in Top Of The Pops.

Personnel

All instruments including the typewriter were played by Klark Kent. The engineer was Nigel Grey (i.e. Nigel Gray).
