Together with Stewart Copeland and Mick Jacques Darryl was a member of Stark Naked And The Car Thieves and Curved Air. In 1978 he played violin on the Wayne County & The Electric Chairs song Trying To Get On The Radio. In 1989 he worked with Stewart Copeland on his opera Holy Blood and Crescent Moon.
