Sting is in Milan to film Julia And Julia, staying at the Hotel Principe di Savoia.
On 1986-08-22 he receives a telex from the record company with a transcription of notes he was asked to write for The Police's upcoming Greatest Hits album. While in Milan he got a call at 2AM (probably today...) from his record company in Los Angeles. He was asked to submit liner notes for 13 songs until 10AM the next day.
These handwritten notes were auctioned together with the telex transcription by Bonhams in 2015.
