"Hungry For You (J'aurais Toujours Faim De Toi)" is a song written by Sting and recorded by The Police in 1981.

About the song
Sting's original 4 minute demo is entirely instrumental.
An early mix from AIR Studios is also almost 4 minutes long. Andy's funky guitar is completely missing.
This early version begins with half a minute of the main theme with Stewart Copeland just playing bass drum and hi-hat. The first time he uses his snare marks the beginning of the LP version.
The first and second chorus on the LP version feature some ride cymbal overdubs. The second verse and the partially repeated 1st verse of the LP version feature some rim click overdubs.
Both versions are quite different after the second chorus. The early version even has partial new lyrics in a third verse, bringing it close to the four minute mark.
Sting must have re-done a lot of vocals - the final "Hungry For You"'s sung on the LP version are not in place in the early version yet.
