Classical guitrist Manuel Barrueco from Cuba and Andy Summers met in Los Angeles at the opening concert of the Hollywood Bowl in on 1999-06-25 (being guests of Sir George Martin).

Manuel subsequently invited Andy to record some duets, for future release.
