Sting performed two songs at the "Channel (V) Music Awards" at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, India.

First he received the award for "Contribution to International Music". In front of 20.000 people he then performed Fields Of Gold and Every Breath You Take - accompanied by Indian tabla and sitar players.

Later Sting presented an award to Daler Mehndi.
